Architizer, the world’s leading online platform for architecture, is thrilled to announce the winners of the 11th Annual A+Awards. As the industry’s largest and most international awards program, Architizer’s A+Awards honors the best architecture and spaces from across the globe. From established heavyweight firms to emerging talent, the winning group of designers comprises the leaders of global architectural excellence; the who’s who of the industry, setting standards that impact architecture’s users and designers throughout the entire year.
From our partners:
To reflect the vital work of architects in combatting the climate crisis, this year’s program introduced a new suite of Sustainability Categories, while maintaining the usual accolades for Firms of the Year, as well as the Typology and Plus architecture categories. After an unprecedented number of submissions were rigorously reviewed by the jury and the global public, the latest collection of winners forms a vibrant celebration of the world’s most innovative and impactful contemporary design.

The 11th Annual A+Awards also sees the return of Architizer: The World’s Best Architecture, an annual compendium of the world’s best buildings and spaces. The book, which features over 150 projects from winning firms, is the year’s definitive architectural guide.
In collaboration with Material Bank, Architizer will celebrate Winners at a live reception at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, in Paris, in October. Timed to coincide with Paris+ par Art Basel, and gathering over 600 luminaries from the worlds of architecture, art, and design, the A+Awards gala will be one of the premier events for architects and designers in 2023. Here’s a visual sneak peek of just some of this year’s extraordinary A+Awards-certified architecture…

The judges were consistently awed by the ever-higher quality of this year’s entrants, with many echoing a similar sentiment about about leadership in sustainability, not only through new technologies and materials, but the widespread interest in designing projects that participate in more circular economies.
A+Awards Juror Qian Xidong, Design Director and Lead Architect, UAD, stated: “The projects of the 11th A+ Awards are outstanding, and the attention to technology not only reflects the thinking on social issues, and the harmony between public architecture and the environment, which fully reflects the social responsibility of architects.” Other judges highlighted the freshness of all the new voices represented in the gamut of this year’s winners.
